Since 1989 our organization has provided emergency financial assistance in basic needs categories such as: rent, utilities, basic telephone, in addition to case by case assistance in many other areas. Since we are not a State/Federal funded organization
each client request is reviewed according to our finances at the given time.


Our services compliment the services of local,funded, AIDS Service Organizations in Greater New Bedford & Fall River, MA.
Our services require documentation of HIV/AIDS status. We receive referrals from case managers working within the HIV/AIDS Community.



HOW WE OPERATE

Persons wishing to access our services should first: contact a case manager in order to have a needs assessment given.
Case Managers at nearly all AIDS Service Agency have our contact information and will advocate on your behalf.
As with all assistance we provide, keep in mind we have a limited budget as we fundraise for our budget dollars.
We take each request on a case by case basis.
Case Management provides us with all necessary documentation which we require.
All received information is kept in strict confidentiality.
We do not receive funding from the State or Federal Gov't. but we are answerable to them nonetheless.
Our assistance is for emergency situations and limited to the HIV/AIDS community.

Our grassroots approach to helping meet the needs of our Clients requires ongoing goals set by our Board of Directors.

Support from friends and the Community as a whole are vital to our success.
